Angels & Airwaves, a rock group led by Tom Delonge captivates us with a blend of space and atmospheric sound. The band was the brainchild of Tom DeLonge, it was conceived after the hiatus of Blink 182 were Tom was also a front man.
The Music of Angels and Airwaves has a very uplifting vibe. It will give you a no holds barred attitude to live your life fully and happy.
Its lyrics revolves around love, knowing who you are, is deep and is poetic.
Angels & Airwaves has released three studio albums thus far: We Don’t Need to Whisper (2006), I-Empire (2007) and Love (2010). Angels and airwaves released a documentary Start the Machine last mid 2008.

We don’t need to Whisper Starts with an ambience setting baseline and synths. Valkyrie Missile the title of the first track, and is the mood setter for this album. It delivers an out of this world feel that makes you think that you are travelling in space.
A concept album perhaps, here is Tom DeLonge on how he recommends listening to We don’t need to Whisper; “I really want the room to be dark, with black light or a candle,” he says. “People should have headphones on, and they should be really comfortable, maybe sitting on the floor, leaning against the bed. I spent a year and a half working on this record, trying my hardest to give people a moment of escapism. All I ask is 50 minutes of a lowered heart rate.”
“This album was simply inspiring during one of the lowest points of my life. A lot of people will under appreciate this album, but it truly is something ambient and incredible for those who desire a message in their music. It’s well worth your time.” – Danny R

I-Empire The sophomore album brings more enigmatic pieces to the table. The electro progressive blend, hits it of where it must.
The uplifting message that this album delivers even made it to the movies. The first track “Call to Arms” can be heard in the movie “The Boys are Back”
Not to mention the other uplifting lyrics that can be found throughout the album such as in “Lifeline” with…
If you wish it, wish it now. If you wish it, wish it loud. If you want it, say it now. If you want it, say it loud.We all make mistakes. Here’s your Lifeline. If you want it, I want to.
“This is a big step up from their debut. As Anthemic, spacey, catchy as the first album, only this time they add a lyrical positivity, and upbeat feel to proceedings.” – Punkrock Superstar
Love, the much awaited album was released on the month that may best describe it. Love, the third installment of Angels and Airwaves was released on February 14, 2010, online; And it’s Free! Some Partners of the band pre released the album a day before its scheduled worldwide release. This created the much anticipation from the fans for this album has been waited for since the supposed release of it last Christmas of 2009.
If you want deep and innovative music Love must come to you. Love starts of with “Et Ducit Mundum Per Luce” which means, lead the world by the light. Et Ducit Mundum Per Luce sets the right tone and deepness for the album. As the album goes you will surely bump into fast highs to slow and introspective sound.

Watch the Documentary: Start the Machine
Start the Machine is a documentary about the start of the hiatus of the band Blink 182 and the beginnings of Angels and Airwaves. Start The Machine Also talks about the making and or production of their debut album “We don’t need to whisper“.
Angels and Airwaves will also be releasing a science fiction film entitled Love.
“I can tell you, honestly, the movie is ten times better than I thought it would be. But it’s not meant to compete with Transformers. This is an art-house film and no band has really done this in a very long time. So we’re hoping that we catch some people off guard and we’re also hoping that we do something that is very credible as far its artistic acumen goes.” – Tom DeLonge
