The world class focus on their strengths, not work on their weaknesses.

Are you addicted to information? Acquiring information is very addictive. We tend to ignore it when we are at school, but outside or under certain circumstances, we consume it.
I was fond of information. I was addicted to it, however it changed.
Dan: I know more than you think
Soc: then you think more than you know
(from the movie: The Peaceful Warrior)
Information is addictive because it gives you a sense of being a genius. The knowledge that it gives you makes you feel powerful and maybe superior.
I had to let go of it. In true sense you don’t need a VAST amount of information. You need to let go of the trash that is in your head. The trash that is stopping you from letting you know the truth.
Less is more. Focus is the answer. When you tend to focus on ONE thing, you must Ignore the other things that does not contribute to that one thing you are doing. Do not, bombard yourself with information that you are not going to use NOW. Nothing bad is going to happen when you let it go.

Focus on one thing. Master it. Let it go. Focus on another thing.
Exercise:
1. Identify the one thing that you want to work on NOW, be it salsa dancing, guitar playing, etc etc
2. Be specific on what you are focusing
3. Leave out all the rest.
There’s so many things that you could do in life aside from speeding it up. Take things slow. Know what you want to do NOW. Focus on it. Master it. Repeat the cycle.
